News from the current (2008) season:

It's time to start the 2008 EISEF season. Come to the first EISEF Board meeting and see what it takes to put on a science fair! [added August 31, 2007]

	When and where: Tuesday, September 11, at 5:30 PM, in the Marion Public Library.
	Agenda for the meeting.
	The Calendar of Events shows the meeting dates for the whole season.

This year's ISEF will take place May 11–17, 2008, in Atlanta, Georgia. Visit the ISEF Website for more information. [added August 31, 2007]

The 2008 EISEF Logo is now available. [added September 13, 2007]

Senior students & teachers: You need to review the ISEF rules—they've changed for 2008. [added October 3, 2007]

The ISEF 2008 Rules and Guidelines FAQ has a link "Can I use last year's forms?" (It strongly recommends using the 2008 forms.)

The EISEF Forms Guide requires you to use the 2008 ISEF forms.

The ISEF website has a document that highlights the rules changes for 2008.

Finish your experiment and complete your paperwork.

Fill out the Student Entry Form and submit it.

Mail us copies of your Student Entry Signature Pages and all your other paperwork. The deadline is February 24, 2008.

What to do if you're late.

Bring the originals of all paperwork with you to the Fair on March 15, 2008.

The Fair took place on Saturday, March 15, 2008—.

Congratulations to our 2008 Senior Champions!

	Xiaomeng Zeng from Iowa City and Shelby Sieren from Keota.
They won at EISEF in Cedar Rapids. Now they're headed to the International Science and Engineering Fair in Atlanta, May 11–17.

Statistics:

	217 students attended, with 171 exhibits.
	106 judges interviewed them.
	They received 180 awards in all.

Xiaomeng Zeng wins in Intel Science Talent Search. [added March 26, 2008]

On March 11, EISEF Senior Champion Xiaomeng Zeng placed 7^th (out of 40 finalists) in the Intel Science Talent Search.
