EISEF 2009 Friday Setup
Table Setup: 'Whippy Things'

photo, picture, image, science fair

Assembly

We need to hold signs aloft over the student registration table, so students can see which line they should be in. A few years ago Walker Kelly invented the Whippy Things to do this. They use bicycle flag poles, bits of plastic tubing to make T-junctions, and clamps to attach it all to the tables.

Here Walker (right) assembles the Whippy Things with help from Chris Parrish (front) and Jason Sytsma (back).

Mounting

Chris, Walker, and Jason mount the Whippy Things to the student registration table.
