Pulling skirts
It’s after 5:00 — time to remove the exhibits, tables, and chairs. Here, Susan Noreuil (left) is carefully pulling a skirt from a table, while Jo Mahoney folds up another skirt to use next year.
What goes up must come down
The disassembly of Shelby Sieren’s exhibit. Shannel Winkel’s exhibit has already been loaded on Kate Shindelar’s cart (foreground right); Shelby’s will soon join it.
Packing for removal
Lauren Parrish & Kira Savage have dismounted their exhibit. Now they’re carefully packing the pieces for transport. They want everything intact for the State Science Fair in Ames next weekend!
(background left) Pandy Wadsworth is holding the header from her team’s exhibit.
Juniors remove their exhibits …
… while Ernie watches. :)
Ernie Schiller (on bench, right) calmly watches the junior students cart their exhibits away to their vehicles.
Ernie’s entitled to rest a little. He spent his career bringing students — including his daughters — to science fairs.
The Junior Physical exhibits are mostly gone …
… and so are the Junior Biological exhibits.
Redeploying the chairs
The tables we knock down and store away. The chairs we need for the Awards Ceremony. Walker Kelly is hauling chairs to the ceremony area.
