Jo Mahoney (seated) and Susan Noreuil staple colored dots to the judges’ contact sheets.
To explain: Each of the pale blue sheets contains the name, contact information, and preferred division for one judge. We give the judge their sheet at registration; we also give them a strip of 6 dots in their division’s color, used to reserve exhibits on the wall sheets. Jo and Susan are cutting the sheets of dots into strips of 6; stapling a strip in the right color to each contact sheet; and writing the judge’s ID number on each of the dots. It’s a big, tedious job, but it seems to speed things up at registration on Fair Day.
