  • News from the 2007 Fair:
    • The Fair took place on Saturday, March 17, 2007—17 years ago.
    • Meet our 2007 Senior Champions:
      Congratulations to the 2007 EISEF Senior Champions Hannah Dotseth and Megan Bartholomew!
      Their next stop: the International Science and Engineering Fair in Albuquerque, New Mexico May 13–19, 2007.
    • Statistics:
      • 263 students attended, with 203 exhibits.
      • 163 judges interviewed them.
      • They received 205 awards in all.
    • Lists:
    • Did you take photos at the Fair? If you’d like to share them, we’d love to see them. E-mail them to our webmaster, and maybe we’ll include them in our photo album.
    • Senior and Junior Champions: Now you have to get ready to go to Albuquerque, and you have to meet some strict deadlines. Our Post-Fair Info page tells all about it.

  • Call for judges: We’ll have lots more students in 2007 than last year. They need more judges to interview them—you can be one of them! Visit our Judges Page to learn more or our Volunteer Form to sign up.

  • Do you have a a project to enter in the Fair? Here are some links to guide you:
    • Make sure you read the Projects and Rules page and follow its directions.
    • Check the Forms Guide to find out what forms and certificates you need to fill and when.
    • When you’ve finished your experiment and completed your other paperwork, it’s time to enter your project in the Fair by filling out the Student Entry Form? and sending it to us.

  • We want to get a photo of every student at their exhibit to post on this web site after the Fair.
    • To help make that happen, at the Fair we’ll have afternoon photo sessions Δ by division; we ask the students to be at their exhibits during their session, and we’ll send photographers around to take their pictures.
    • You can help too: If you take pictures at the Fair, we’d like to see them. You might get a better picture than ours, or one we missed altogether.

  • This year’s ISEF will take place May 13–19, 2007, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Visit the ISEF Website and the Official Host City Website for more information.
  • SRC 101 PowerPoint Presentation. The ISEF SRC has made available an SRC 101 PowerPoint presentation that can be a tool in giving workshops on the Rules and Guidelines. You need Microsoft PowerPoint installed on your machine to view it.

  • It’s time to start the 2007 EISEF season. Come to the first EISEF Board meeting and see what it takes to put on a science fair!
    • When and where: Tuesday, September 12, at 5:30 PM, in the Marion Public Library.
    • Meeting Agenda?.
    • The Calendar of Events shows the meeting dates for the whole season.
