Project Title: How Does Plant Density Affect Soybean Yield?
Description: I tested three different soybean plots that measure 76cm wide by 531cm long. Each plot was equivalent to 1/1000 of an acre. The three plots were thinned to the following densities; 6 plants per foot, 4.5 plants per foot, and 3 plants per foot. I counted the pods and weighed the grain produced in each plot. I also counted the soybean plants in each plot, as well.

Project Title: The analysis of the particulate emitted from cigarettes on the Growth of Streptococcus salivarius: Regular VS Electronic
Description: Our projected consisted of comparing electronic and regular cigarettes and the health effects they cause related to tooth decay. We wanted to see if any evidence corresponded with the belief that electronic cigarettes are “a healthy alternative” to smoking regular ones. We went about experimenting the project by growing the bacteria Streptococcus salivarius and the effects of the particulate released from both electronic and regular cigarettes on the growth and spreading of the bacteria.

Description: I am giving individuals a academic test on subject such as math. The individual will take this timed test. I will then have the same test given a second time. The difference this second time, will be a certain time allotted for coloring before the test is taken. I am testing to see if the art and creativity has any effects on the outcome of test scores. I have found in my results, that art and creativity does in fact have a positive effect on academics such as math.

Project Title: Using Crude Glycerine (A Biodiesel Waste Product) as a Corrosion Inhibitor in Concrete
Description: My project deals with using crude glycerine as a way of preventing corrosion in concrete. During the experiment I soaked pieces of steel in crude glycerine and then placed them in concrete tubes. I allowed the concrete to harden for 14 days and then placed the concrete tubes in a brine solution and allowed them to sit for a week. Then I broke the tubes apart and examined the steel rods that had been placed in the concrete for corrosion.
