The Eastern Iowa Science and Engineering Fair (EISEF) now accepts Senior Teams, starting with the 2005 Fair.
In 2005, the EISEF started accepting Senior Team projects: projects by two or three students in grades 9 through 12. The Senior Teams compete in either the Senior Biological division or Senior Physical division, on an equal footing with the individual projects. We judge all the projects in a division in the same way, except that we evaluate the teams for their teamwork, too.
The equal footing extends to awards: Senior Teams can win all the same awards—including a trip to the 2024 in Los Angeles, California.
Senior Teams have to go through the Project Registration? process, just like all other projects. Senior Teams must also fill out all the ISEF certificates and forms that apply to their project, just like the senior individual projects.
