Science Service is a non-profit organization dedicated to
advancing the understanding and appreciation of science among people of all
ages through publications and educational programs. This site includes
information on the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair, the Intel
Science Talent Search, the Discovery Young Scientist Challenge, and the
Directory of Science Training Programs.
Intel International
Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF)
Each year, EISEF sends up to four students to the Intel
International Science and Engineering Fair (Intel ISEF), which is the world's
largest pre-college celebration of science. Held annually in May, the Intel
ISEF brings together over 1,200 students from 40 nations to compete for
scholarships, tuition grants, internships, scientific field trips and the
grand prize: $50,000 college scholarship and a high-performance computer.

State Science and Technology Fair of Iowa (SSTFI)
The SSTFI is the state science fair for Iowa. The SSTFI is affliated with the Discovery Channel Young Scientist
Challenge (DYSC), for students in grades 6 through 8, and with the Intel
International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF), for students in grades 9
through 12.
