Instructions for submitting your EISEF entry on-line

  1. Read the Students & Teachers page and the EISEF Privacy Policy.  Plan and conduct your experiment.

  2. Collect all the information you need before you start to fill out this form.  You may want to print this page so you can refer to it while you collect the info.

  3. This form uses Javascript;  it can't work if (a) your browser is old and doesn't support Javascript or (b) Javascript is disabled.

If the page has finished loading and you can still read this,
Javascript is unavailable or disabled—you won't be able to submit your entry.

  4. Fill out the form and proofread your typing.  Required fields have labels in bold face.

  5. Carefully proofread your typing.  What you enter on this form is what will appear on your certificates, in the fair booklet, and on our web site, where people can read it for many years.  Also, if the phone numbers or e-mail addresses are wrong, we won't be able to contact you or your adult sponsor about any problems with your entry.

  6. After you finish filling out the form, click the "Send Entry to EISEF" button (the one right here or at the bottom of the page).  This will e-mail your entry's information to EISEF and will display a signature page with your information.  (You have now completed the first half of the entry process.)

  7. Print all the sheets of the signature page when it appears.

  8. All the student experimenters and your adult sponsor must sign the printed copy of the signature page.

  9. Mail all the sheets of the signed entry form to the EISEF address given at the bottom of the page.  Attach copies of all the other required documents and certificates.  (You have now completed your entry.  You are not fully entered until we receive a copy of the signed signature page.)

  10. The deadline for mailing entries is approximately three weeks before the Fair. For the 2008 Fair, entries should be postmarked no later than February 24, 2008.
