6th-Grade Exhibits Policy

The Eastern Iowa Science and Engineering Fair (EISEF) now accepts exhibits from 6th-grade students, starting with the 2007 Fair. We made this change in response to long-term pleas from eastern Iowa’s middle-school teachers. It brought us into step with Iowa’s other ISEF-affiliated fairs, SSTFI and WISEF.

The 6th-graders compete as juniors, under the same rules and in the same divisions (biological, physical, or team) as the 7th- and 8th-grade students.
