This photo arrived in an email from John’s wife Rebecca, who was also at ISEF in Dallas. Within minutes the internet crackled with comments about the consequences of this action:

| Mallory | He can sign all of the kids[‘] papers at the fair next year. I don’t know how Susan does it every year. It’s a lot of signatures so if John wants to step in I have no objections lol |
| Heather | He already put that out to the universe on site at EISEF saying he would be the Fair Director, so no surprise here. |
| Susan | Haha. Have at it, John! ððð. Enjoy the big salary that come[s] with the title. ðĪŠðĪŠ Hope you two are having a blast! |
