Rise (http://www.risefortheworld.org/) is a program that finds brilliant people who need opportunity and supports them for life as they work to serve others. The program starts at ages 15–17 and offers access to ‘’‘benefits that last a lifetime including scholarships, mentorship, access to career development opportunities, funding’‘’, and more as Global Winners work toward solving humanity’s most pressing problems.
We’re a proud partner of Rise, alongside Schmidt Futures and the Rhodes Trust. We also believe that ‘’‘educators, parents, and community leaders are uniquely positioned ‘’‘to help us find talented young people who may go undiscovered or unsupported otherwise — which is why we’re emailing you about this opportunity.
Unlike many traditional applications, Rise uses videos, projects, and group interviews so applicants have multiple opportunities to showcase their potential.
Everyone who applies joins a global community of leaders and gains access to free online courses and opportunities from Rise partners around the world. Up to 500 Finalists are selected to participate in “Finalist Days”, then 100 Global Winners are chosen each year to receive benefits for life to help them scale their impact.

These summits are targeted towards youth with the goal of motivating them to apply. During the virtual summit, the participants will:
- Meet Rise Winners and Rise Team Members
- Learn more about the Rise program and the Year Two application process
- Hear from Rise winners about their experiences applying and participating in the community
- Have the opportunity to ask questions
- Note: The summits have regional focus for time zones and winner panels but are inclusive and open to all.
